The name Crystal Jade will definitely ring a bell to Singaporeans for the chain restaurants that the group casts over major shopping malls. When Vivo City opens, Crystal Jade took the chance to introduce another one of their fine dining restaurants, the Crystal Jade Dining IN. "Dining IN" creates mouth watering Cantonese cuisine presented with alluring modern creativity.
Crystal Jade put some effort in the interior décor of the restaurant to inject modern touches which is in line with the food experience that they would like to present. I liked the narrow passage that segregates that reception area to the main dining area. You'll not getting the Vivo City's curious shopping crowd peering in to disturb your meal. At the same time, behind the walls of the passage way are cleverly compartmentalized private dining areas for the big gathering.
As a whole, I thought the interior works of Golden Pavillion (another fine dining restaurant of Crystal Jade inside Paragon) grander than Dining IN. However, both HY and I felt that that Dining IN's food suited our palates more. The service in the restaurant was good and the waitresses were enthusiastic with topping up our tea cups despite the restaurant being full house.
